Lisa Schaal is a retired teacher who has traded lesson plans for Mahjong tiles! A mom of two and a grandmother of three, Lisa has always loved planning gatherings and bringing people together. After discovering Mahjong, she quickly fell in love with the strategy, fun, and community that comes with the game. Now, as part of the vibrant Mahjong Society in Mandeville on the Northshore, she shares her passion by teaching Mahjong lessons and hosting Mahjong events throughout the Greater New Orleans area, allowing others to learn, laugh, and enjoy the game with friends.
Mahjong Society offers engaging lessons throughout the New Orleans area designed for beginner players or those wanting to improve their skills.
